I am a seasoned data platform professional, with over 10 years experience in the field, with an interest in data platform and cloud based technologies.
I worked for one of the largest banks in South Africa, and Premier Field Engineering (PFE) division within Microsoft CSS where I spent over 3 years working in PFE for SQL Server and Analytics Platform System (APS).
After this, I spent 4 years working for a financial startup called Magic Orange which is focused on cost transparency and financial modelling in South Africa, where I have been the lead Azure and data architect.
Currently I am a lead consultant for Theta New Zealand to help clients realize benefits from their Azure and cloud analytics investments.
